El Toro senior-to-be quarterback Conner Manning (6-2, 195) has been offered by Utah, his uncle, Mike, said in an e-mail Tuesday night.
The Utah Utes are the first school to offer The Register’s 2011 offensive player of the year. Utah signed San Clemente’s Travis Wilson in February.
Interestingly, Utah also has offered Santa Margarita QB Johnny Stanton.
In April, Manning was selected MVP QB at the Nike Football Training Camp at Cerritos College. Last season, Manning became the first county QB to ever pass for 4,000 yards.
Look for Manning to pick up more offers. He works privately with QB guru Bill Cunerty.
