Santa Margarita senior-to-be wide receiver River Cracraft (6-1, 205) has committed to Washington State, he confirmed in a text message moments ago.
Cracraft made an unofficial visit to Washington State on Friday.
“I knew that it was the right place,” he said in a text message, “and my family did also.”
Cracraft joins his Eagles’ teammates, center Dane Crane (Washington), safety Connor O’Brien (Washington) and offensive lineman Erik Bunte (UCLA) as a Pac-12 commit.
Washington State was the first school to offer Cracraft. UNLV and Nevada followed with offers.
He was ranked 18th in the latest OCVarsity recruiting rankings for 2013. But after based on the connection he has shown this summer with QB Johnny Stanton, Cracraft’s stock could be on the rise.
