
Canyon senior-to-be Elisabeth Bernabe closed the Rolex Girls Junior Championship with a 2-over-par 74 and finished in a three-way tie for 10th on Friday.
Bernabe posted rounds of 74, 75,79 and 74 to card a 14-over 302 at The Concession Golf Club in Bradenton, Fla. That left her 32 shots behind first-place Ariya Jutanugarnof Bangkok, Thailand. She finished with an 18-under 270, which is an AJGA 72-hole record for girls. She broke her own record of 17-under-par which she set last year at Somerby Golf Club in Byron, Minn.
