Edison girls volleyball coach Trent Jackson will take over the boys program, athletic director Rich Boyce confirmed.

“He was the obvious pick for us,” Boyce said.

Jackson replaces Brian Boone. Jackson was an assistant with the boys team in 2004-05.

“I’m really excited,” Jackson said. “I’m looking forward to continuing the tradition of excellent volleyball at Edison.”

“We have a good group of returners and they are motivated to have a good season next year. We have a chance to do really well.”
