Elisabeth Bernabe, an All-County girls golfer golfer for Canyon, won a playoff with Angel Yin at Industry Hills Golf Course to get final qualifying spot for the U.S. Women’s Open.
Bernabe finished the 36-hole sectional qualifier played on the Eisenhower and Zaharias Courses with a 2-over-par 145.
The U.S. Women’s Open will be held July 5-8 at Blackwolf Run in Kohler, Wis.
