Gerry Manning has resigned for personal reasons as head boys lacrosse coach at St. Margaret’s, athletic director Susie Maga said Wednesday.
In 12 seasons, Manning led the Tartans to a 123-54 record and was the Register’s coach of the year in 2011.
“Always competing at the highest level, Coach Manning’s teams have won the last six consecutive Trinity League Championships,” Maga said. “We couldn’t be more proud of his accomplishments and are so thankful for all that he has given to this program. We are very pleased that he will continue to be a part of the Tartans lacrosse program and teach Physical Education in our lower school.”
The school is accepting applications for the job.
Interested candidates should email Maga at Susie.maga@smes.org including a cover letter expressing their interest in the position and a current resume.
