Softball: Carlson commits to North Carolina

Pacifica pitcher Kaylee Carlson committed to North Carolina, ESPN softball analyst Bret Denio confirmed.

Carlson, a sophomore, is 14-1 with a 0.75 ERA, eight shutouts and 88 strikeouts in 83 innings this season.

Carlson was 21-2 with a o.78 ERA, 15 shutouts and 120 strikeouts in 143 innings as a freshman when she made first team All-County.
