Jeff Reinert is the new boys basketball coach at Santa Margarita, the school announced this morning.

Reinert, below, has coached college basketball for 24 years, most recently as associate head coach at Fresno State. He previously has been an assistant at Oregon State and head coach at Utah Valley University.

He replaces Jerry DeBusk, who is retiring. DeBusk coached Santa Margarita for 20 years.

Reinert played at Gonzaga, where he and John Stockton were teammates.
