Mater Dei vs. Foothill, a Division 1AA quarterfinal playoff game Friday, will be at Foothill’s gym, according to Foothill athletic director Vince Brown.
Brown examined ticket sales of Foothill and Mater Dei boys basketball quarterfinal playoff games of the past couple of seasons and concluded that the Foothill gym, with a capacity of 1,450, will suffice for Friday’s game.
Mater Dei and Foothill will sell tickets in advance, and it is strongly urged that people interested in attending the game take advantage. Mater Dei will sell tickets at its athletics ticket window Friday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Foothill will have tickets on sale Thursday and Friday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at its front office. Usually such sales are cash only.
Bonus: There will be several top-shelf food trucks at Foothill on Friday, from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., as part of the school’s “Friday Night Bites.”
