Track and field recruiting: Canyon’s Crampton signs with UCLA

Canyon senior and defending state high jump champion Cody Crampton is staying in Southern California.

Crampton officially signed his letter of intent to compete for the UCLA track and field team.

His state-winning clearance and lifetime best jump of 6 feet, 11 inches is tied for the ninth best clearance in county history. Crampton won the California Indoor State Meet last month for the second straight year.
