Kevin Hastin has been promoted to head coach at Troy, where Hastin had been defensive coordinator the past seven seasons. Hastin, 31, replaces Jim Burton who has retired heating-pad.net after seven seasons running the Troy Warriors football program.Hastin was an All-Freeway League linebacker at La Habra. He went on to play at Fullerton College and Portland State.

Hastin sees an increasingly challenging Freeway League for the 2012 season.
