His team competes in one of the toughest boys soccer leagues in the county, and he always seems to put together a demanding preseason schedule, so no one can accuse him of taking the easy road to success.
But on Wednesday at Marina High, Fullerton coach George Shumaker reached a number that few high school coaches ever get to see during the careers.
