ALISO VIEJO – It wasn’t the kind of goal that’s often seen in soccer, one that came without using a head or foot. And it made Servite have to wait another day to see if it will advance into the championship bracket of the Aliso Cup.

Eight minutes into the second half, Ivan Velev launched a long throw across the field into the box, flying over the heads of all his Aliso Niguel teammates waiting to launch it in for the score.
