
Buena Park’s playoff bound football team features a trio of Division 1-A recruits to keep an eye on Friday when the Coyotes play host to Foothill in a Southwest Division first round playoff game.
Two-way lineman Josh Tupou (6-4, 297) leads the way with offers from Colorado, Nevada, San Jose State and Alabama State. The senior visited Nevada over the weekend and picked up his offer from the Wolf Pack, Coyotes coach Anthony White said Tuesday. He also is receiving interest from Hawaii.
Two-way lineman Oscar Barron (6-4, 267) has been offered by San Jose State and Alabama State. He and Tupou will visit San Jose State the weekend of Dec. 3, White said.
Wide receiver Kameron Taylor (6-2, 185) has offers from Utah and Weber State, White said.
There also is a fourth recruit to watch. Quarterback JJ Christy has received interest from Harvard.
