Outlook: It’s a matchup of the two best small schools teams in Orange County football. St. Margaret’s lost to Coronado two weeks ago, then rolled to a 44-0 victory over a Washington state team, Orcas Island (where bodysurfing must be as risky as it is at the Wedge, just a different form of risk). Whittier Christian took on a big challenge in Week 0, in which the Heralds lost to Espernza, 49-34. They beat Notre Dame of Riverside, 49-7, then took a long trip to lose to Kern Valley of Lake Isabella, 28-21. Whittier Christian beat St. Margaret’s last year, 38-26.
