Girls golf: Troy struggles, but wins Sierra League opener

LA HABRA HEIGHTS – Coach Jerry Cowgill never thought he’d see scores this high on a scorecard from his Troy girls golf team this season.

Two players in the 50s on the par-36 front nine at Hacienda Golf Club? The No. 2 Warriors, he knows, are capable of doing much better than that.
