Los Alamitos safety/running back Terrance Brown has committed to Northwestern, the senior confirmed moments ago.
Brown (6-1, 195) said Northwestern offered him Monday and he jumped on it.
“I was speechless,” he said of the Wildcats’ offer. “I’ve been talking to them the longest.”
Brown said Northwestern recruited him to play safety. The Wildcats were the first school to offer Brown, who also expressed interest in Cal. He holds an overall grade-point average of close to 3.6.
Brown has not visited Northwestern but look for that trip to be on the horizon for one of Orange County’s top defensive backs.
