Servite and Edison have joined the Anaheim Ducks’ High School Hockey League (ADHSHL), it was announced Friday.

Servite competed in 2010, but has added a varsity team for the 2011-12 season. Edison has added a junior varsity team and will compete in the 2011-12 season.

Bishop Amat/Upland Christian Academy and Long Beach Prep will also compete in the 2011-12 season.

There are three varsity teams in the league: Santa Margarita, JSerra and Servite.

Santa Margarita, JSerra, Orange Lutheran, Damien of La Verne, Servite also have junior varsity teams.

Servite defeated JSerra, 5-1 in the finals last season. Santa Margarita’s varsity represented the state at the USA Hockey High School Varsity National Championships, March 23-27 in Bensenville, Illinois.
