Monday was the deadline for MLB teams to sign their draft picks. Here is an update on some county draftees.

Christian Lopes has signed with the Toronto Blue Jays for $800,000. Lopes was a seventh round draft pick in the June draft. Lopes had signed with USC.

JSerra catcher Austin Hedges, who had signed with UCLA, agreed to terms with the San Diego Padres for $3 million.

Edison pitcher Henry Owens signed with the Boston Red Sox for $1.55 million.

Tustin third baseman Travis Harrison (USC) signed with Minnesota Twins for $1.05 million.

No. 1 overall pick UCLA pitcher Gerrit Cole (Orange Lutheran) signed with the Pittsburgh Pirates for $8 million.
