When: 5 p.m.

Road to the final

Westlake: def. Cathedral Catholic 25-21, 25-22, 29-27; Mater Dei 25-21, 17-25, 15-25, 29-27, 16-14. Corona del Mar: def. Westview of SD, 25-22, 25-20, 25-20; Santa Margarita 10-25, 29-27, 26-24, 23-25, 15-12

Outlook: The teams did not meet this season. Westlake exacted a bit of revenge in eliminating Mater Dei in the regional semifinals. They’re looking to make the most of their second chance. The Warriors had a balanced attack against Mater Dei. Sophomore outside Colby Magorien had 18 kills and 11 digs. Keats Stanley had 11 kills and middle Taylor Tattersall also had 11 kills. Adrian Powditch had 16 digs and Travis Magorien had 53 assists, three kills and three digs. CdM went the distance against Santa Margarita before pulling out the victory. Balance is always the key for the Sea Kings. Parker Brown had 19 kills, Brennan Anderson 13 and Evan Dean 10 against Santa Margarita. The Sea Kings have won 12 consecutive matches, dating back to a loss to Loyola of Los Angeles, April 21.
