CIF-SS boys volleyball: Trabuco Hills at Corona del Mar

Trabuco Hills (22-5) at No. 1 Corona del Mar (27-4), 7 p.m.

How they got here: Trabuco Hills defeated Golden Valley in 4, swept Santiago of Corona in 3 and defeated Oak Park in 5; Corona del Mar swept Hart and Aliso Niguel

Outlook: Trabuco Hills trailed 13-10 in the fifth game of Saturday’s quarterfinal against fourth-seeded Oak Park. The Mustangs, who lost the first two sets of the match, scored five consecutive points to win the game and the match. Brandon Stoker led Trabuco Hills with 24 kills and Beau Osborne had 20. Sean Nakada had 53 assists. CdM had a first-round bye after closing the regular season with five-game thriller over Newport Harbor. The Sea Kings have returned to action with a pair of sweeps (Hart and Aliso Niguel). Parker Brown led the Sea Kings with 12 kills. Spencer Haly and Jack Reed added nine apiece. This will be the first meeting of the season.
