Chris Anderson wins Wooden Award

Canyon senior point guard Chris Anderson has been named a recipient of the Wooden Award, which went to seven Southern California boys basketball players today. Anderson won the Division II Wooden Award. Anderson, a county player of the year candidate, will be at University of San Diego this fall.

Wooden High School Player of the Year Award: Ryan Anderson, Long Beach Poly (Division I); Chris Anderson, Canyon,  (Division II); Damiene Cain, Harvard-Westlake (Division III); Cezar Guerrero, St. John Bosco (Division IV); Kenyatta Smith, Flintridge Prep (Division V); Aaron Liberman, Valley Torah (Division VI); and Spencer Dinwiddie, Woodland Hills Taft (LA City Section).
