Orange Lutheran junior goalie Corey Tobin has committed to UC Irvine, Tobin’s father Sean confirmed Friday.

A third team all-county selection as a freshman, Tobin saved 174 shots and recorded 10 games of 10 or more saves.

Last season, Tobin improved both of those totals. She recorded 198 saves and posted 11 games of 10 or more saves, including a career-high 18 saves on February 10th against Santa Margarita.

For the second straight year, Tobin was a third team all-county pick and earned first team all-Trinity League honors.
