Mater Dei guard/forward Jessica Duarte committed to Cal State Northridge, Monarchs girls basketball coach Kevin Kiernan announced Thursday.

Duarte joins Kaleena Mosqueda-Lewis (UConn), Alexyz Vaioletama (USC) and Kiki Aloutufili (Arizona State) as Mater Dei players who have made commitments.

Kiernan also said his wife, Christine Collins-Kiernan, has taken an assistant coach job at Cal State Northridge.

Alicia Komaki, who was an All-County player for Kiernan at Troy, will replace Collins-Kiernan as an assistant coach for the Monarchs.
