Notable departures: Jacalyn Barens, DS

Notable returners: Courtney Castle, OH, Sr.; Shaq Torres, OH, Sr.; Hannah Tedrow, S, Sr.

Outlook: A strong summer showing illustrates the potential that the Lancers have this year. Hannah Tedrow is an accurate passer and has the hitters around her to make this offense roll. Orange Lutheran was kept from the league title last season and is sure to be motivated to not let it happen two years in a row.

My thoughts: The Lancers had one of the best junior trios last season in Castle, Torres and Tedrow. I expect the level of play to rise now that they are seniors and it’s going to be a fun team to watch.
