Boys soccer: San Clemente cruises to semis in Capo Valley

MISSION VIEJO – San Clemente could have pulled its keeper at the start of Monday’s quarterfinal game in the Capo Calley Summer League, and it wouldn’t have made any difference.

Almost the entire game was played in Trabuco Hills’ end. As you might expect the Tritons’ “A” team – they field two squads in the tournament – sent shot after shot … after shot flying at the Mustangs, more than a few of them found the back of the net. A lot more.

SCHS has changed their offense to more of a Brazilian style and as you can see from the score, it has paid off. Expect to see SC score a ton of goals this year with this new offense put in by the mastermind pronier!
