
Yes, the scholarship offers just keep piling up for Whittier Christian senior-to-be defensive lineman Jeff Worthy (6-4, 275).
But this time, he has received an offer that he considers a “dream come true.”
Worthy was offered Sunday by UCLA, he confirmed in a text message Monday morning.
“It’s a dream come true to get an offer from UCLA – my dream school growing up,” he wrote. “I just went out and proved I could be a Bruin.”
Worthy got the offer Sunday after the UCLA-hosted Above and Beyond Camp.
He said the Bruins are “very high” on his recruiting list, which Nebraska, Boise State and SMU among others.

This athlete was a handful for the Tartans when they played each other last year … Sounds like this young man is going places and good for him as he has proven that on occasion, there are a few DI prospects that come out of the small school divisions …
