Our USC reporter Michael Lev has posted over at the USC blog that Mission Viejo linebacker Tre Madden has committed to USC.
Madden, was a first team All-County linebacker last season for the Diablos.
He is the third county player that has committed to USC so far, joining Mater Dei quarterback Max Wittek and wide receiver Victor Blackwell.

I’ll be curious to see how many of these verbals evaporate when USC gets slammed with their long over due sanctions in the very near future.
It’s a leap of faith. Wishful thinking, hoping his choice won’t get hammered.
But, it’s becoming increasingly obvious, they’re gettin’ hammered!
It won’t matter, because by the time they are at USC and ready to play the sanctions won’t have any effect of them. And I bet USC just has to forfeit loses and nothing happens to their scholarship or bowl eligibility. They are U$C, money talks and the NCAA is listening…
I don’t agree. I believe the reason why the NCAA is taking as long as it is to announce is to ensure the sanctions are bullet proof and not subject to any overturn on appeal.
Bama and the rest of the country is watching very closely on just how hard the NCAA hammers the “Trogans” (sic) . If I recall, Bama got hit pretty hard for infractions a lot less severe than what the Trogans (sic) are accused of.
But bama plays in a powerhouse football conference. USC is the west coast draw. You think the NCAA wants USC’s out of its bowl games for a year or two? no thank you. tv ratings are what push those programs along. Sorry but its true. I dont understand why the NCAA would go after usc. reggie bush should be the one they should go after. and i’ll bet you anything the ncaa wont do a damn thing. this has been a 3-4 year investigation nothing will happen
