Football: Wittek commits to USC

Mater Dei quarterback Max Wittek verbally committed to USC, Monarchs football coach announced today.
Wittek, a 6-4, 210-pound junior, completed 136 of 227 passes for 2,107 yards and 14 touchdowns and nine interceptions this past season.
Wittek is expected to have a big senior year this fall. Wide receiver Victor Blackwell will be back as well. Blackwell was one of the top receivers in the county with 52 receptions for 1,033 yards and 11 touchdowns.
