Girls Basketball: Samuelson commits to Stanford

Junior guard Bonnie Samuelson of Edison verbally committed to Stanford, Chargers girls basketball coach Dan Wiley announced.
Samuelson led Edison to the CIF-SS Division 2AA finals as a sophomore. She averaged 27.1 points, 9.0 rebounds, 2.9 assists and 4.4 steals per game and got the Chargers to the Division 2AA semifinals this past season. She also shot 92 percent from the free-throw line.
Oh yeah, she also carries a 4.8 grade-point average.
