Water polo recruiting: Santa Margarita’s Choquehuanca commits

Santa Margarita senior water polo player Rutger Choquehuanca has committed to Loyola Marymount, new Eagles coach Craig Brown has announced.
Choquehuanca ranks third on Santa Margarita’s all-time scoring list with 250 goals. He was a three-time all-Trinity League selection and a two-time All-CIF pick. He also carries a 4.1 grade-point average.
Rutger is a very good get for the Lions. He should develop in time to be a key player.
