I thought mono was very contagious-causes fatigue and the enlargement of the splean which can rupture if the player returns too early. Mono should not be taken lightly. Hope James returns to the water when he is well.
Nice to see OC doing well in ODP…..the girls side is stacked with OC girls as well.

Not impressed with the selections by Segesman. So many of the kids that are on the two teams are connected to United and MD. Other than a handful on the Red team I think SoPac may not have as good of showing as in past years.
There it is again…… Inoue…Segesman
Cratch my back….etc.etc.
What is the connection between Inoue and Segesman? Where did Inoue come from?
Kent is a terrific player. No one should be questioning his placement on this team. If you are going to complain about a player-coach conspiracy, at least choose a player who was a borderline pick on the team. The kid can flat out play.
Is it Kent or Inoue Sr. that is in question?
Kent is a better player than all of the 2nd teamers. He has a much higher ceiling and is rightfully on Sopac 1. Watch the kid play before you judge MD
Yes Inoue a solid player. But don’t you think that he should have been attending the tryouts and workout sessions? It seem weird that some got cut for missing workouts and others get to hang out in Europe and just show up for the Tournaments. There does seem to be a Inoue / Segesman connection.
It looks like 40% of your ODP is from Mater Dei. Maybe Mater Dei will retire Walters, Bonanni and Inoue’s numbers early.
Fran – thanks for posting the girls – I blogged on both girls teams today
Did the sopac girls get tshirts and suits like the other zones?
Don’t know about the girls, but coastal boys got T-shirts and suits, 94/u sopac boys got a t-shirt only, 92 sopac boys got nothing. More than likely the lack of gear is due to the disorganization of the sopac representative who was supposed to get this stuff ordered. (Would that be Mitchell again?) Those athletes in ODP PAY MONEY to do so, and there is no fairness in those in SoPac being shortchanged arriving at this event and receiving very little or nothing, unlike the other zones.
Discenchanted-you hit it on the nail.
Both the Sopac 92 and 94 boys only receivd t-shirts.
The Sopac 92 and 94 Girls Teams got t-shirts and a suit that may have been a optional purchase.
Could it be that the zone coordinator has a daughter on the sopac team and she probably got te suit for FREE.
It even gets worse.
the weekend was tooooo easy..
