It was a fantastic opening week of the season for Hartig, who helped the top-ranked Aztecs capture the Redondo Tournament on Saturday. Hartig recorded 17 kills in the championship match, a two-game victory over Huntington Beach. Hartig finished with 54 kills for the tournament and earned MVP. He aslo put down 18 kills in a four-game victory over the Oilers in the season opener on Tuesday.
Hartig has already committed to UC Santa Barbara.

Great player he deserves it. I havent seen any one challenge him yet though.
He should thank his setter Bret Anderson for all the awards he is going to get. That kid is the best setter in the county with out him they are a good team not a great team.
Hartig deserves it and Esperanza is proving it is the best team.
Still, no one has been able to tell me where this great setter is going to college. Isn’t he a senior? Anyone know?
I need to double check this, but I’m pretty certain he’s still undecided. And yes, he is a senior.
