Here’s a look at Wednesday’s action:

No. 10 San Clemente 3, Foothill 0: The Tritons picked up a sweep, 29-27, 25-21, 25-16, over the Knights in the season opener for each team. Nick Castellana and Zak Beard each had 8 kills for the host Tritons. Beard also added 7 aces. Hunter Cannon had a team-high 10 kills for Foothill.

Trabuco Hills 3, Capo Valley 0: Sophomore Brandon Stoker recorded 18 kills to help the Mustangs sweep the Cougars, 25-20-, 25-16, 25-12.

Northwood 3, San Juan Hills: Griffin Levinski led the Timberwolves with 12 kills in the sweep, 25-16, 25-15, 25-23.

Estancia 3, Los Amigos 1: First-year coach Paul Munoz and his squad earned its first victory by beating the Lobos in four games, 24-26, 26-24, 25-13, 27-25. Kohl Jones led the way with 18 kills. JIm Nelson added 8 kills and Tyler Sullivan finished with 33 assists for Estancia.
