OK, swimming fans – it’s official – Melanie Klaren is now a Wolverine. The former Mater Dei star swimmer began classes at Aliso Niguel on Monday, Aliso Niguel athletic director Mike Middlebrook said in an e-mail Monday.
Klaren is a huge addition for the Wolverines – who should challenge Mission Viejo for the South Coast League title and perhaps contend for a top-10 finish in Division I.

First Spears from MD to Brea Olinda, now this? When are the public schools gonna stop nabbing private school athletes?
Oh wait, these transfers were probably done in the best interest of the students. Good for you, Spears and Klaren.
Vaughn and Klaren duo should be a great tandem this year. I think they may compete for one of the TOP 3 spots. Dan Albano you should really look at the Aliso team this year. Vaughn has been the ROCK for Aliso but both Klaren and Vaughn should really be something to watch this year in their League play.
Go Wolverines
I’m looking for to swimming but I’m pumped for the wpolo playoffs
Will anyone be able to stop Dos Pueblos in Division I? Can Laguna repeat in Division II?
