Wrestling: Damon Couch wins at Canyon Springs

wrestling_icon Santa Margarita senior 152-pound wrestler Damon Couch placed first in his weight at the Raul Huerta Memorial Tournament hosted at Canyon Springs High.

Couch, ranked second in the county, defeated Daniel Threlkeld of Vista, 9-2 in the finals. Couch recorded victories by technical fall, fall and decision on his way to the finals.
