The Chargers, who led 45-28 late in the third quarter, had to hold on for a 55-53 victory tonight over No. 9 Capistrano Valley in the Sea View League-South Coast League showdown.

Capistrano Valley got to within one point, 50-49 with 2:00 left in the game.

However, El Toro’s Justin France scored two consecutive baskets for a 53-49 lead.
