Basketball: The Calhoun Countdown

January 5th, 2010, 7:10 pm · · posted by

boys_basketball_iconThe start of the league season is finally here.

It is time to state your case.

Do you belong in the county Top 10?

Do you have it what it takes to walk into an opposing gym and pull off the upset?

Do you think Steve Fryer hates your team? (He probably does)

Each week, I’m going to share with you my countdown of the Top 10 things to watch for each week. This will include the games and players to watch and my predictions (and we all know how much you love predictions) for some of the week’s biggest games.

Click here to check out the season’s first Calhoun Countdown, then come back here to tell me what you think of my predictions and my players to watch.

I couldn’t agree with you more on Tustin’s Glover (6’4,195)and Coulter(6’3,200). These two guys are physical both offensively and defensively. Matt Glover has that uncoachable PG vision to see where everyone is on the court. His last game he had 13 assists, half of those the no-look variety. He is also a scoring machine when he wants to be. Dominic Coulter is just a slashing beast that lives for contact. He can fill it up when called upon. Coulter also gives the same effort on defense. Tustin needs to keep these two guys on the floor as much as possible. T
