Top 10 — which is better?

A coach said another website’s boys basketball top 10 is more accurate than the ocvarsity top 10 … take a look and comment on what you think is better …
OCVarsity’s top 10:
1. Mater Dei
2. Ocean View
3. Edison
4. Los Alamitos
5. Orange Lutheran
6. Mission Viejo
7. Tustin
8. Sonora
9. Capistrano Valley
10. Foothill
The other top 10:
1. Ocean View
2. Mater Dei

Ocean View – I have seen twice – not as good rebounding or depth of Mater Dei.
Tustin and Foothill are not better than Los Alamitos and/or Orange Lutheran.
The other rankings make little to no sense:
OLU is much better then #10. Mission Viejo beat University and has a better record so it wouldn’t make sense to put uni in front of them. CDM lost to Fountain Valley and got murdered by Tustin… what have they done to get in the top 10? They have no quality wins yet. After the first 3 teams its a complete mess. Stick to the Fryer Top 10.
uni and cdm are not even consensus top 2 in their own league with beckman and irvine able to beat them on any night.
tustin and foothill are ranked a little too high, o lu ranked too low.
the person doing the rankings on the other website should be fired.
uni and cdm will beat beckman and irvine by at least 10 . just wait its a long season give the programs time to develop .
Mater Dei…….Ocean View?????? not close enuf….the Monarch roll over them ……………..
Actually, it is not a “Fryer top 10,” it is a poll of five media guys who follow county basketball pretty closely. It is not perfect; we could all second-guess any top 10 that anybody would put together.

Haven’t seen MD yet, but have seen OV and they are sic! Def best 2 teams in the county then a crapshoot from there. Thought Los Al would be tough-but they were not impressive in their loss to DH and all the changes are affecting the program! I think ET and Uni. should be in!
Mater Dei hand down number one in the county and possibly state. 3 out of the 5 starting players have scholorships to division I schools. No one can beat that.
I casually follow basketball, but I see that Dana hills has defeated both Los Al and Canyon. If I remember correctly both of those teams were ranked highly in the pre-season poll. Any insight into why they are not a “top 10″ team would be great.
