shoulda been a bruin…
Word I heard is that the Bruins tried hard to get him……but….
What is up with all the talent leaving So Cal? Answer….Poor and out-dated recruiting practices. UCLA and USC are becoming very middle of the pack programs. Why??? They once dominated, but now seem to be losing players from one of the hot spots in HS football in the nation.
I also see more out of the area college teams doing a better job in recruiting and building relationships with players in this area (Orange County) via phone calls and better follow up. USC and UCLA are losing blue chipper and are dong a terrible job at keeping in contact with secondary players from this area.
USC and UCLA are going after blue-chippers from out of the area and spending too much time trying to sell the kid on the sunshine vs playing near to home instead of going after the secondary players in this area that want to play near home. They are losing sight that many of the non-blue chip players in the OC would be “all- world” in just about any other area.
We are happy for you sole. Education and discipline will get you there. We are looking forward to see you rep SERVITE at the next level. Will miss you next season #75 rocks……………….
