
The soccer season is barely a week old and already there have been some impressive performances. Here’s a look at four players, who made a difference for their teams this week. Keep in mind, they are listed in no particular order.
1. Javier Gomez, Brea Olinda. He scored three goals and added two assists this week.
2. Jaime Rios, Laguna Hills. He scored three goals as the Hawks beat El Toro, 3-2 on Wednesday.
3. Efren Cordova, Santa Ana Valley. He finsihed with a pair of goals as the Falcons rallied to defeat a solid Agoura squad, 4-3 in the Aliso Cup.
4. Freddie Razo, El Toro. He knocked in three goals this week for the Chargers, including a pair of goals in the 5-0 victory against Clovis North in the Harold S. Young Tournament.
