Girls water polo: Villa Park, El Dorado reach quarterfinals at Benson

Villa Park and El Dorado’s girls water polo teams have reached the quarterfinals of the Benson Cup.
Both teams won twice on Thursday to reach the quarterfinals. El Dorado will play host to Granite Hills on Friday. I suspect Villa Park will play either Mira Costa or Cerritos in its quarterfinal Valencia.
At Brea, St. Lucy’s and Long Beach Poly play in the quarterfinals Friday.
At Fullerton, second round play continues Friday. Los Osos is the team to watch from that bracket.
