  • KiKi says:

What about maxpreps ratings OR Massey ratings… ??

  • on looker says:

maxpreps has got edison #1 and MV #2. i dont know how these other teams are beating out edison and MV

  • HSFBfanInCorona says:

I thought the College BCS was a mess, but I have no idea how they figure out the California High School Football Rankings. How many CIF are there, and how many State Champions can one State have????

  • EHSWildman says:

CalHi rankings are a joke! Maxpreps, Massey and Freeman are all way more accurate. To rank Oaks Christian and Crenshaw above Edison and Mission Viejo is ridiculous, not to mentions ranking Oceanside, De La Salle and Lakewood above Mission Viejo and Servite. Do these clowns actually go to the games? ESPN’s rankings are just as bad.

  • The Guild says:

CalHi proves time and again that they are posing as authorities and are actually just catering to geographics. The “Wildman’ has legit take.

  • Woody says:

What!; No mention of Aliso Niguel?

  • Angler says:

    Don’t knock Oceanside.
    1. They are a Div 2 team.
    2. They have a DIV 2 state title,earned a couple years ago.
    3. They have a 36 game unbeaten streak
    4. They are the best team in San Diego County, a county the size of Orange County
    5. They have 6 players who have signed with Div 1 college teams off this year’s team.

If they win out they will be in Div 2 consideration. The three PAC-5 Orange county teams need to worry about getting by Lakewood, who lost a very close game to Crenshaw, who is ranked ahead of them, in the first game of the year..

  • bob says:

Can someone please tell me all south coast league o-lineman?

  • Glen Chervin says:

    Bob,
Football is a team game. Individual awards are not that important.
If your son does not make South Coast first or second team will you think any less of him? I didn’t think so.

  • Lancer says:

Do you agree with these rankings Steve?
