Kirifi Taula has been cleared to play in Friday night’s playoff game against Mission Viejo.
Taula, a 6-3, 285-pound two-way lineman for the Friars, was having an All-County-type of season before breaking his left arm a few weeks ago.
Servite assistant coach Bill Knudsen said Taula will play in the Pac-5 semifinal Friday at Cerritos College, but he is unsure how much Taula will play.

Mission Viejo going down. They didn’t play anyone yet. You better have 3 guys to block this monster and not only that you better have 2 more just to block #44. Go SERVITE!!!
Did the Servite Linebacker come back yet?
Lhhman…he’s done for season due to concussion.
I hope Servite can win this Friday.
Credo…we believe! Go Servite…Go Friars!
I am not a mission fan by any means but they are going to stomp Servite. Servite better bring all the fans they have to console their boys after they lose by 30+. Have fun!
Sorry Friars, but you wont be able to score that much against MV’s D! Mission by AT LEAST 21
this is not crespi, poly,or clovis. this mission a team you have been down playing all season. watched you guys on tv and watched them on tv. big differnce.mv30 friars 0
Gloat now “whatchama’ cause you will receive some redeeming grace and forgiveness for your hate mongering after witnessing a complete team effort by the Friars.
No common opponent makes it tough to handicap, as you SoCounty fans are so eager to do, MV won’t put 30 on the board, much less win.
Talk to me after the game if your not too numb!
