Football: Good news for Servite’s Taula

Kirifi Taula has been cleared to play in Friday night’s playoff game against Mission Viejo.
Taula, a 6-3, 285-pound two-way lineman for the Friars, was having an All-County-type of season before breaking his left arm a few weeks ago.
Servite assistant coach Bill Knudsen said Taula will play in the Pac-5 semifinal Friday at Cerritos College, but he is unsure how much Taula will play.

No common opponent makes it tough to handicap, as you SoCounty fans are so eager to do, MV won’t put 30 on the board, much less win.
