Girls basketball: Brea’s Hartman out for season

All-County center Justine Hartman of Brea Olinda will not play this season because of lingering knee problems that require knee reconstruction surgery.
Hartman, a 6-foot-2 junior, played all last season with a partially torn ACL — that’s the main stabilizing ligament in the knee — and the looseness of the knee was creating some cartilage issues, Brea coach Jeff Sink said.
Sink said Hartman and her family decided to no longer risk further damage, shut her down for the year and pursue the surgery.
“She might have been able to keep playing,” Sink said, “but getting the knee fixed now is the right thing to do.”
Hartman, All-Orange County first team last year as a sophomore, averaged 15 points and seven rebounds for the CIF State Division II champion Ladycats.

so who replaces hartman. also what happened to olewkimbi didnt see her in box scores. and does troy play any time soon or does anderson keep every thing a secret, especially now that he may have to do some coaching in what looks like a competitive freeway.

Per socal it also says that Brea got transfers and they played club at OC Elite and they are affillaited with Brea. Why does CIF SS have all these rules no othe section does but only enforce them on the little dogs.

Per another blog, she is not injured she is suspended, so I think she will probably be back when they need her, you know how that works.
since she lives in la habra maybe she will end up at sonara since Im sure mom is not going to take any blame in suspension and will pull her.
