The 28-team Valley tournament will usher in the 2009-10 girls water polo season Monday afternoon and night with a whopping 28 matches at four sites: the spectacular 50-meter at Valley, Orange, Magnolia and Santa Ana.

Ocean View is the tourney, too. With construction of a new pool underway at OV, perhaps the Seahawks will be hosts in the near future. I would love to see this tourney go to four 50-meter pools for venues. Big-water Tustin is in the tourney but not a host.

At Valley - Host Falcons, Pacifica, Sonora

At Orange - Sunny Hills, Orange

At Magnolia - Northwood, JSerra

At Santa Ana - Troy, St. Joseph's

Tourney final is Saturday at Valley at 4:20 p.m.
