Roll on Trabuco!
I hoped TH wins; so they can run into Tustin in semis. I’d like to see the Tillers beat trabuco, esecially since steve fryer ranked Tustin ahead of the mustangs all year; then picks TH to BEAT Tustin (?). If he’s calling for an upset, then just say it instead of acting like Tustin doesn’t stand a chance against trabuco hills. (lol)
For years Fryer has kept TH out of the top dozen. I bet he is having a hard time with TH in the top 15. He reconizes teams TH defeats more than TH themselves. That’s ok, he’s only a sports writer with a chip on his shoulder. Tustin has the easier road to take to the semis than the other three top seeds. This Friday will be fun to watch the blogs on game developments throughout the Southern Section. Happy Thanksgiving.
Face it TH is a pretty quiet school, we don’t rant and rave too much about being under rated, we haven’t beaten a powerful Pac 5 or played a Trinity school, we haven’t had any unfortunate events and we don’t have any individual players with the most yards, so what’s to write about? If we do well in the play offs and once we are in the South Coast maybe we’ll get more headline. Just keep in mind that TH has a program with integrity and has gained the respect of all their opponents and many of our TH athletes have earned scholarships without a lot of local press. We have done well and so has many other schools even though we haven’t made the top ten. (actually I think we did briefly in ’07).
Another way to look at it is if TH is not written up as a “game of the week” maybe because they feel that it will be a one sided game, that’s a compliment to one of the teams. It’s really not worth getting stressed out about, but, when TH wins CIF there better be a full color photo on the OCVarsity page or they’ll be getting an ear full.
Sounds like a rant to me….????
Not at all. Thanks for being a SW supporter.
May not be a rant but I did hear you call your shot as King of the SW. Seems a bit premature to me. Also a bit disrespectful to Pacifica, Tustin, Cypress and oh by the way La Habra. I like the TH team, but I think your comments are a bit arrogant.
First of all “Happy Thanksgiving” to all of you from all of us here in Provo, Utah. I’m up here because my family got me a suprize ticket to the “Holy-War” game between Utah and BYU. So I won’t be at Bolsa Grande Stadium to watch the 2nd round game between Trabuco Hills and Pacifica. Good luck to both teams. I know the stadium is 40 years old but many great games have been played there. Back in my day 5,000+ fans went to watch such play-off games there. I hope that its a packed Stadium again to show support for all of the kids. Mariner 4 Life// CrunchBunch 4 Ever>>>>>>>>>>>>>>P.S. My wife wanted me to mention that LEE’S Sandwich Shop on Brookhurst is worth the trip to the game for Trabuco Hills Fans. We drive from Vegas and go there every time.

Give me break- PHS has NO QB- All the passes are under 5 yard completions and the rec/rb runs for additional yards., they have NO passing game over 10 yards- looks like POP WARNER!! They will get blown out by a real football team.
YOU GOT IT PACIF/ YOU’LL TAKE THEM THERE LUNCH
