There are eight county teams in action tonight in the five divisions.
Here's a look at the action:
The lineup (game time 7 p.m.):
Division I: Newport Harbor at Granada Hills; Los Alamitos at Dos Pueblos; Huntington Beach at La Costa Canyon
Division II: Corona del Mar at Ramona
Division IV: Connelly at La Jolla Country Day; Upland Christian Academy at Whittier Christian
Division V: Fairmont Prep at Fresno Christian; San Diego Jewish Academy at Saddleback Valley Christian
Match of the night: Los Alamitos at Dos Pueblos.
Outlook: Most of the county teams face big challenges in order to advance. The three with the most likely chance of moving on is Newport Harbor, Saddleback Valley Christian and Whittier Christian. Newport travels to Granada Hills, and though the team doesn't know much about its opponent, would seem like a favorite in that match with being the Division I-AA champs. Whittier Christian is facing the Division IV-A in Upland, which is undefeated. However, the Whittier is coming off its second CIF championship and is home. Corona del Mar also had a strong shot advancing over Ramona. The Sea Kings are surely motivated by Saturday's lost to Redlands East Valley, and would love another shot at them in the regional final. Huntington Beach faces a tough task in La Costa Canyon, but the Oilers already saw the best in Dos Pueblos on Saturday and won't be intimidated by anyone.
