    Dan
Great to see the Girls WP programs are up and running. Should be a strong year. I like your top 10 in D2. Laguna Beach will be young, but LR will carry them. San Clemente, again a different look this year, but balanced w/one of the best goalies in the county. Dana Hills, also young and has one of the best juniors in the county.

  • DAN ALBANO says:

I think the South Coast League should again pretty strong in Division II

SC will be the favorite but it appears Dana and Mission will be competitive

And Tesoro does have Suggs, so I expect the Titans to make some noise

this poll is from the Division II coaches - my rankings aren't out yet but stay tuned to the girls water polo blog for more coverage

    • Fran says:

SC will dominate with their great new coach, and girls who train year round with club.

Dana and Mission will be ok, with Dana pulling out the win head-to-head.

Tesoro will struggle as many have quit the team.

      Good luck SCL.

Hey Dan. What about Canyon this year? They seem to always have a pretty good polo program. Where would you rank them in the Div? What ever happened to Brea? Did they move down in Div? Weren't they a playoff team just a couple of years ago? I hear they have a new coach named Sprague. Didn't he coach at Servite?

  • polograndpa says:

Canyon is a pretty good team. They have a good feeder program. Brea...I think they are stil DII. They dropped off the radar screen last year. Servite's Sprague I believe isan asst. at Los Al. Stan Sprague is at Brea. He's a well-known coach. Been around the sport for some time.

  • Polo Fan says:

We'll see just how Canyon is this year. They travel to Dana Hills tomorrow.
