  Where is Edison? Yes, any good water polo fan must be asking themselves that after checking out this poll.

  Edison was 8th at the state tourney of the summer – defeating Foothill in the tourney. The Chargers also defeated Rosary in the night league

  Edison fits solidly in this mix, and can play with any of these teams, so that omission is the most glaring one for sure…should be some exciting games between all of those teams during the year, and as usual with water polo, some good early matchups on the schedule…and as usual, thanks to Dan for all his coverage for these athletes

  Mostly agree with the assessment of Polo Fan, although not sure SB should be up that high. Pretty severe drop off after the top 3. Edison should have a tough squad, which will clearly put Sunset in line for the top-ranked League.

  Well after the first week of girl’s polo in DI, here is the next try at the rankings:

  1. Dos Pueblos……..Exceptionally tough even without two starters
  2. Newport Harbor…Gilcrist et al, make them hard to beat
  3. Los Alamitos……..Great team speed, experience and Watkin’s back
  4. Edison……………….2 good wins over rated DI teams, Williams wow
  5. CDM…………………..Never count Chaney out, Young but learning fast
  6. Santa Barbara……Beat LBW, lost to CDM, play DP 12/9
  7. Foothill……………….Beat Rosary, lost to DP, play NH 12/11, tough schedule
  8. LB Wilson………….Lost to EHS and SBHS, Wilson tends to start late
  9. Huntington Bch…Still in waiting but good comments in the background
  10. Fountain Valley…New coach, see comments for #9.
  11. Rosary……………..Lost to EHS and FHS but best in Trinity this yr.

    HB lost 16-3 to Edison yesterday. My guess is they are not a top 10 team. FV is probably in the mix, as is Rosary and Mater Dei.
